TO-MERA: 'Delusions' E-Card Available

January 29, 2008

An e-card for TO-MERA's forthcoming sophomore album, "Delusions", can be accessed at this location.

TO-MERA is the U.K.-based dark progressive metal band formed by former WITHOUT FACE vocalist Julie Kiss (photo) and bassist Lee Barrett (ex-EXTREME NOISE TERROR, DISGUST, MUSSOLINI HEADKICK).

Due on February 18 via Candlelight Records, "Delusions" (cover artwork by Eliran Kantor) will feature the following track listing:

01. The Lie
02. Mirage
03. The Glory of a New Day
04. Inside the Hourglass
05. A Sorrow to Kill
06. Asylum
07. Fallen From Grace
08. Temptation

Regarding the new CD's musical direction, Barrett said, "All the elements present on [last year's "Transcendental"] have been greatly expanded upon. The music will display a much greater range of moods, tempos and dynamics (ranging from fragile subtlety to epic bombast via everything in between),whilst being simultaneously more sophisticated, yet more melodic and coherent than before. Julie's vocals have become substantially more versatile and powerful. There will be loads more guitar and keyboard (even drum!) solos. But most importantly, we feel this music has a much deeper and more genuine emotional impact to it. We're hoping the finished album will capture that."

TO-MERA will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guests on Friday, February 8 during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio show, aptly named "The Bruce Dickinson Friday Rock Show". Listen to the program live via the Internet between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. U.K. time at BBC.co.uk.
